Over-the-top TV would be a nice way of eliminating the receiver in the home, but there are a variety of complicated obstacles that stand between quality and delivery. I don’t expect that many people will be watching TV in their homes much in the near future unless it is a quality movie since many of us, like me, are not home much. It seems between the job and kids I’m in the car more than anywhere else. Mobile TV is the future and I already have all of my channels live with the Sling Adapter I got from my employer, Dish Network, when they went on sale over a year ago. Since then I watch about 90% of my TV on my iPhone or Galaxy Tab and when my family is together we can do something else we enjoy.
